Have we failed?
I want to let you in on a little secret.
I feel like I've failed. Perhaps I haven't been able to adequately convey why Let's Connect events are important. Maybe I haven't effectively cast vision for what they are designed for or why they exist. It is quite possible that you've tried to reach out to another ministry wife and it didn't go well. Hey, it's even possible that you've hosted a Let's Connect before and it was a flop or it was difficult to get a response.
I feel you.
But good things come to those who wait. And I'm just gonna wait you out, friend. I'm going to contend for something that you've given up on but still need in your life. I'm calling you off the island of ministry and leadership isolation and waving you over to an island of safety, connection, and friendship.
In 2022 I've set a goal to have at least one Let's Connect event in each of our 50 states. These events are as simple as reaching out and saying "How can I learn more?" and then selecting a date that works for you (and, even better, maybe another ministry wife who lives near you who will co-host!) on the calendar to meet someone for coffee, lunch, or dinner for a few hours during the month of June.
So what are you waiting for? Let's take the #letsconnectchallenge.
