WEEK 4 (November 24 - 30 / Thanksgiving Week)
Each day write words by journaling, poetry, song lyrics, or listen to a song that makes your heart happy. Give THANKS for joy found easily!
Each day read or memorize: I will praise the name of God with a song; I will magnify Him with thanksgiving (Psalm 69:30).
Samalee Allen, known as “Sam” to friends and family, and her husband Terry have served hand-in-hand, from being volunteer youth pastors and worship leaders to serving full-time in ministry, building strong relationships with many leaders across the US.
After a family health crisis, Sam and Terry made hard choices to align their health with movement and nutrition. As she strengthened, she discovered she loved fitness challenges, including walking and running. Out of local need, she became a fitness instructor in 2014, but desiring to minister the Gospel freely via fitness, Sam entered Revelation Wellness in 2021. She has completed numerous certifications and races in distances for 5K, 10K, Half & Full Marathon, a Sprint Triathlon and an Ultra using intervals (running with resting intervals of walking). Sam absolutely loves leading people to freedom in Christ and in movement!
In 2019, the couple founded MVP Leader Group - A ministry designed to honor, encourage and connect ministry leaders, pastors, and ministers and spouses for the purposes of mental, physical and spiritual health. MVP fuels the called, strengthens and replenishes leaders who are themselves in need.
Sam occasionally will minister apart from Terry at women’s retreats and gatherings. She and Terry live in middle Tennessee near their son and daughter-in-love and two grandsons!
